My family moved into Rivermist in 2016 and the first thing we did was sign our oldest son up for swim team. All 4 of my sons are on the team and I am so excited for another great season as Team Manager. I am always open to talk about the Racers to keep this team a fun, positive place for our children. Reach out to me anytime with questions, feedback, or ideas.
Danny has been a swim parent with the Racers since 2019. He and his wife Lauren have four children, three of which are active on the Racers team. Danny served as our lead merchandising rep in 2019, as well as serving as a stroke and turn official since his family moved into Rivermist. Danny stepped into the role of Head Official and Secondary Council for our Racers team in 2022, and has a passion for the encouraging, team building, and community atmosphere that our swim team provides.
Ella is excited to serve as Head Coach this season. She swam and previously coached for the Cricket Commons Cyclones, swimming for 12 years and coaching for 2. She competed with Gwinnett Aquatics for 8 years, where she developed a strong technical foundation and a lifelong love for the sport. Over the past 5 years, she has taught swim lessons to athletes of all ages and abilities, from young beginners just getting comfortable in the water to Masters swimmers refining their technique.
Ella currently serves as the Lessons Coordinator at Gwinnett Aquatics, where she oversees swim instruction and development for swimmers at many different stages. She is passionate about building confident, capable swimmers while creating a positive, encouraging environment for the team.
Ella lives in Lawrenceville with her son, Oliver, and is currently planning her wedding this fall. She looks forward to a fun and successful summer in the pool!
