We will have our 4th dual meet AWAY tomorrow night at the Waterton! We DO NOT HAVE A MEET THIS THURSDAY! The address for the away meet is 1235 Lakeridge Ct, Grayson, GA 30017
For away meets, visiting teams have a 5:30 warm up and a 6:00 start. Please plan to arrive by 5:15 to get set up and checked in with Jessica. Remember, she will have on her Red tank with "people mover" on the back. Make sure you check in with her even if you do not have a shift at this meet so she can check your kids in as well. Thanks!
Parking will be very limited. Prepare to park and "walk" quite a ways. Most opposing facilities are not blessed with generous parking like Rivermist! Remember as you park on the street NOT to block any driveways and please only park on one side of the street so that emergency vehicles can pass through if needed. I believe that Waterton will have signs out noting which side of the street parking is allowed. If this is the case, let's please follow their requests and guidelines;-) And allow enough time to walk a ways and still be IN the pool area by 5:15 PM at the latest.
They will have will have a concession stand with pizza, hot dogs, and loaded baked potatoes, along with snacks and drinks.
Our bullpen area is the large, covered, picnic pavilion directly behind the tennis courts. This is outside the pool fence but there is a double gate that we will open at that end. Our parents are welcome it sit on the far end of the pool from the clubhouse. If that area gets too full, we may also sit outside the gates near our bullpen. You will need to bring your own chairs.
In the past, we Racers have left their Pavillion and surrounding area in a complete mess for myself to have to clean up late after all have gone home. Please, I am begging you parents to be certain that you and your kids leave your respective areas spotlessly clean!!
Heat sheets are attached! Please print them before you come to the meet. They have also already published the meet to Meet Mobile. The Heat Sheet is also available on the app.
We have something like 40% chance of scattered thunderstorms tomorrow so please be prepared for some waiting. Also, be absolutely certain that you have joined the 2019 Racers Remind text group! Instructions for this can be found on our website and also on the bulletin board at the pool during morning practice;-)
