- They must be able to swim the length of the pool independently without using the lane lines
- Kids must willingly participate in a whole practice without parents in sight
- Head Coach Zach Kusch is returning to lead the racers. He is gathering his awesome staff of Assistant and Junior coaches.
- If your middle school or high school aged swimmer is interested in applying, they should email [email protected].
- Age groups may be capped due to COVID capacity limitations. Practices are limited to 24 swimmers per session.

- Friday practices will continue to be “Donuts and Ribbons” with a more laid back and fun time for the team to hang out and swim
- Morning practice for County Swimmers June 28th - July 9th
- County meet July 9th-11th
- Practice policies
- Only swimmers and coaches are allowed in the pool area during practice.
- Families can hang out at the playground, lake, or tennis areas.
- Alternately, parents will be allowed to leave the clubhouse area (staying in the neighborhood or very close by) and will pick up their children after practice.
- An adult will be present through each practice to assist coaches in contacting parents in case of an emergency.
- There will be 4 virtual meets all held at home
- Thursday June 3, 10, 17, 24
- These will run much like meets in the past except our team will swim at Rivermist and the opposing team will swim at their pool. Times will be combined digitally to determine placing for each event.
- We plan to do relays and meet themes which are always a kid favorite!
- As in the past, families will be required to volunteer during meets. With capacity limits on the pool deck this will be the best way to view your children swimming up close.
- We also have a few key leadership roles to fill:
- Merchandise - responsible for ordering and distributing team shirts, coach shirts, team caps
- Parking - organize and direct traffic and parking for meets
- Stroke and Turn Official - after a short online training, you would be an official to ensure that stroke rules and form are being followed
- If you have any questions about practices, registration, meets, etc. please email [email protected] or call or text Nancy (404)788-9877. There is still much to be worked out about the details of the season, but I am glad to share more about what we know as we know it.
We are so excited that we can get our swimmers back in the pool and racing. There are still many details to be worked out and a few things will be different, but we have amazing returning coaches, team leads, and families. We will hit the ground running to make this the best Racers season yet!
