Important Dates:

Suit Fitting: Sunday, April 25th from 3-6pm

We have a new team suit that we hope will be our suit for the next 3-5 years. These suits will be available to try on and buy in-person on Sunday, April 25th from 3-6pm. To maintain social distance, we are asking families to reserve a time at the link below. Suits, goggles, and other gear will be available for purchase.

If you cannot make the suit fitting, you will be able to buy suits online which will be delivered in bulk to the team before the season starts. We are setting up that online store and will send the link soon.

The team suit is not required, but these styles do make swimming competitively a bit more comfortable and even a bit faster.

Mandatory Parent Meeting: Sunday, April 25th 6-7pm

Join us for the mandatory parent meeting. At least one parent for each family must attend to hear about details for the upcoming season. This a great chance to meet Coach Zach and ask questions about practices, meets, procedures. This season will be a bit different so returning and new families should attend.

New families may come to the Rivermist Clubhouse. Masks required.

Returning families should join on Zoom. Link will be sent next week.

After School Practice: May 10th - May 25th

High School (9th-12th grades) : 4:00-5:00pm

6 and under : 4:30-5:15

7-8 year olds : 5:00-5:45pm

9-10 year olds : 5:45-6:30pm

Middle School (5th grade - 8th) : 6:30-7:15pm

Morning Practice: May 27th - June 25th

Times are TBD in the 8-11am window. We will announce times at the Parent Meeting.

Meets:

Practice Meet : Thursday, June 3rd during morning practice times

Meet #1 : Thursday June 3rd

Meet #2 : Thursday June 10th

Meet #3 : Thursday June 17th

Meet #4 : Thursday June 24th

Families are required to volunteer at meets. Natasha Mahdavi is our volunteer coordinator and will send the volunteer sign-up in the next month.

County Practice/Meet:

Practice June 28th - July 9th during the morning

Count Meet July 9th-11th

Registration Update:

We have had a great response for this season with 84 swimmers signed up so far. Our team usually lands between 100-110 kids so I am thrilled to have such a strong team with 3 weeks left before practice starts.

However, we are close to capacity in our 7-8 and 9-10 year old groups. If you know of anyone waiting to sign up with children in those groups please encourage them to register quickly.
