Practice Starts on Monday

I cannot believe that practice is just around the corner. Please refresh yourself with the practice procedures found HERE. It is very important that you follow the drop-off and pick-up procedures for every practice and that swimmers arrive ready for practice. Send extra towels or sweatshirts for the first few weeks of practice as the water can still be quite cold. 

After School Practice: May 10th - May 25th

• 6 and under : 4:30-5:15pm
• 7-8 year olds : 5:00-5:45pm
• 9-10/11 year olds : 5:45-6:30pm
• Middle School (rising 6th grade - current 8th) : 6:30-7:15pm
• High School (current 9th- 12th grades) : 4:00-5:00pm

Morning Practice: May 27th - June 25th

Swim Shop is Live for Team Suits

For anyone who missed the suit fitting, you can buy the team suit along with other gear through our team Swim Shop. If you are unsure of size, there is a size chart on the website. You can also go to Swim Atlanta when their shop is open and they will get your kid in the right size.

Suits ordered at the suit fitting on online will be available for pickup at practice before the first meet. Orders are due by May 17^th.

Reminder: Team suits are not required, but we do plan to use this same suit for 3-5 years (if available).

New to the Team?

If your child is new to the Racers, we need to see a copy of your child’s birth certificate in order to validate their birth date. You can email a picture to [email protected].

Parent Meeting Recording Available

I am attaching the Parent Meeting Document one last time for reference. The website has been updated with this information. You can watch a recording of the parent meeting on our Facebook page. We expect that one parent from each family has either attended the parent meeting or watched the recording prior to the first practice.

Volunteers Needed

We need a parent volunteer to act as the “designated adult” for practice each day. They would contact parents in case of an emergency and monitor as children are picked up. This role can be split between parents, i.e. Parent 1 – Mon, Wed, Fri; Parent 2 – Tues, Thurs

• 11/12 year old parent for 8-9am
• Middle school parent for 6:30-7:15pm (May 10-25^th only)
• 9/10 year old parent for 10:15-11am
