4th and FINAL Meet Details

Meet #4 is tomorrow and I cannot believe it is the last meet of the season! We had so many speed breakers last week and the kids are ready to cut even more time. This meet and Friday's swim will be the last swims for any kids not attending county. 

**Morning practice at normal times tomorrow. 

4th Swim Meet: Thursday evening June 24th

10 and Under: Arrive by 5:30pm

11 and Up: Arrive at 8pm

Senior Night: We will recognize our graduating Seniors so stick around after each session to honor these amazing swimmers! 

Events: You can check your child’s events online by clicking the Meet Entry button or the attached Heat Sheet. You should print the Heat Sheet for reference during the meet. Remember to use Sharpie to write your swimmer’s name on their back and list of events on their arm/leg. Coaches will also have the event posters displayed during practice tomorrow.

Volunteers: Volunteers check-in with Natasha at the window near the vending machine room. We will hold Timer training and direct all other volunteers to the leads for their areas.

Spectators: Each family can bring 2 spectators in addition to their swimmer(s) and volunteer(s).

Parking: Use the parking lot and when full, the grass lot next to courts 1 and 2. 

Concessions: Concessions will be open and serving Chick-fil-a sandwiches, Dogwood Pizza, and pot stickers along with sides, snacks, and drinks. Meal Deals for $5 or $7 are a great way to feed the family. We now accept credit cards so come on over and grab dinner for the family.

Clean-up: Before leaving the meet make sure that your family cleans up. Look for swim gear like goggles, and towels and trash from dinner or snacks. Cleanup was a breeze last week with so many people pitching in. Thank you!

Parent Relay for Meet #4:

Apparently many parents were inspired by the parent relay last week and want to join in the fun. Email or text me or just bring your suit to swim around 7:30 between sessions.

Donuts and Ribbons Friday 9am:

We will celebrate the meet with donuts and fun swim on Friday 9-10:45am. Coach Zach will announce swimmers of Meet #3 and we will have ribbons for the 3rd Meet. I also have your team photos ready to pick up. We have some very sporty-looking swimmers! Parents are welcome to hang out or pick up their swimmers at 10:45am. We will celebrate tomorrow’s meet at the team party.

**This will be the final swim day for any swimmers not attending county.** 

Swim Team Party July 1st 6pm:

Bring the whole family and join us to celebrate a season like no other. We will have some super fun games (kids might get wet), team and season awards and recognitions, and then will show a movie on a large outdoor screen. Dessert will be provided, but bring a picnic dinner and drinks if you want. Grab some blankets/chairs too.

County Meet June 9-11th:

If your child is eligible for county (or on the bubble) you have received emails from me with details and actions. If any children cut time at Meet #4 and become eligible, I will add you to those emails to get your availability and share information about the meet.
