Best Season Ever!!

I will keep this email short and sweet and mainly want to send out a huge THANK YOU to our Racer families. You all got your kids to practices and meets, helped by volunteering, and were so kind and flexible about this unique season. It has been a joy to coordinate this amazing team.

Last night’s meet was against River Oak and the kids absolutely dominated. We won the meet by 100 points!! We finished the season 3-1 which is fantastic. Full meet results are attached and posted by the playground.

Look for an email next week with a wrap-up survey and information on local swim clubs that offer year-round lessons or teams.

Team Party Date July 1st 6pm

Pack a picnic and join us on the lawn near the tennis courts. Bring the whole family for games (kids might get a bit wet), awards, dessert, and finally an outdoor movie. We will need a few volunteers to help with setup and coordinating the games.

Events for County Qualifiers

County Qualifier Meet Monday June 28th during morning practice time

This meet is for any swimmers attending county. If you qualify for county (and this meet) you have already been notified. There might be a few additions based on last night’s meet and we will reach out to those families this weekend. We are working out the details for the exact times and entries. Email will be sent Sunday afternoon with full details.

County Practice

We will hold practice in the mornings starting next Tuesday through July 9th. Exact times will be sent this weekend, but the goal is to keep times around the same (maybe let the kids and coaches sleep in a bit).

County Championships July 9-11

Session times shifted slightly. Check the Meets and Event page for County Championships for updates. 

Coach Zach is filling in relays and individual events for our Racers to attend the County Championship meet at Ga Tech.
