COUNTY QUALIFIERS - Read this WHOLE email

Meet #5 - County Qualifiers Meet - Tomorrow Monday 7:45am

The purpose of this meet is to help improve times to either qualify for county (for swimmers with times greater than Top 50) or to improve seeding for those already in the Top 50. Kids are swimming just those events they might swim at County as well as any Relays.

Setup - 7am

Swimmers Arrive/Start Warm-up - 7:45am

Meet Starts - 8am

Swimmers Picked up - 10:30am

You can check your child’s events on our website and the Top 100 times are attached so you know where your child stands right now. Encourage your children to get to bed on time, eat a healthy dinner and breakfast, and show up on time to the meet. Help to set them up for success.

County Merchandise

Orders due TONIGHT in order to receive before the meet. Heat sheets will be preordered-only this year. All apparel orders placed by midnight on June 27th will be available at the verification meeting on July 5th. Orders taken after the 27th will be available for pick at the Embroidery Express table at the county meet.

County Meet Event Confirmations

On Tuesday, the 29th we will need each child/family to confirm 100% that they can attend County (if they make the final cut) and also for swimmers to decide their events (if they are eligible for more than 3). Coach and I will be asking them at practice and/or reaching out to parents. If you have questions or are unsure of how to answer please come to Tuesday morning practice or call me.

We will send out the FINAL County list on Wednesday the 30th.

Tues - Fri June 29th - July 2nd

Tues - Fri July 6-9th

9/10 and 11/12 → 8-9am

8U→ 9-9:45am

13 and up → 9:45-10:50am

County Meet

Dates and times are listed ONLINE. I have also attached a Meet Details doc with more information about the meet. No spectators are allowed. We will need a few volunteers to act as chaperones and to work the ribbon room. Once we know our final volunteer needs I will send out a sign-up. Slots will be filled first-come, first-served.
