RM Racers: Week 1 Wrap-up
Please read this email in its entirety. There is some information about progress so far and actions needed from you. I will send emails weekly on Friday with an additional email earlier in the week on meet weeks.
Wrapping up Week 1
We continue to see great progress in all age groups. We hope for more warm weather to keep heating the pool. This week kids focused on freestyle across all age groups. The coaches were assessing skill levels to plan for next week when they will start the other strokes. Swimmers will also be split into lanes more by level to make sure that experienced swimmers are challenged and our newer swimmers continue to work on fundamentals.
Week 2 Schedule
The practice schedule is the same next week. Make sure to feed the kids a hearty snack and please send water. We have had some upset stomachs and lots of water breaks that we would like to avoid. Also kids can wear slides/flip flops which will work for dry land exercises and help them to easily gather their things after practice.
ACTION NEEDED:

Detailed instructions on how to declare can be found by clicking the Meets & Events tab on our website. Note: Swimmers must attend at least 2 meets in order to qualify for county.
