2nd Meet Details- Read this entire email for times and procedures.

We are ready to get our 2nd win tomorrow against the Mountain Park Sharks! The kids have been working so hard especially on new strokes, turns, and dives. I can’t wait to see them all competing and to display our great sportsmanship as we cheer for our team.

**Morning practice at normal times tomorrow.

3rd Swim Meet: Thursday evening June 9th AWAY

Mountain Park Aquatic Center 1063 Rockbridge Road, Stone Mountain, GA 30087

Swimmers and volunteers arrive by 5:45pm.

Preparing: Write name and events on your swimmer. To find the events you can visit our website HERE and click on the MEET ENTRY button or on the Swimtopia App. The app is very easy to use and you can see events, volunteer shifts, meet responses all in one place.

Mtn. Park is an indoor pool with an observation deck - no chairs are needed. All parents must remain in the observation deck - only volunteers allowed on the pool deck. 

Kids should wear their team shirts (given out at practice this week.)

Arriving: Swimmers and volunteers arrive by 5:45pm. ALL SWIMMERS check-in at the bull-pen in the observation deck. Volunteers check in with Natasha. There is plenty of parking in front and at the back of the pool.

Swimming: Warm-ups are at 6:00pm and the meet is scheduled to start at 6:45pm. They have 8 lanes so the meet will run quicker than at home.

All swimmers 10 and under MUST set up and remain in the bull-pen during the meet. We have a parent and coaches to monitor the area and help usher your littles to their events. They will be allowed to leave for bathroom breaks and to swim, but otherwise should remain in the bull-pen. Swimmers 11 and up are expected to know their events and get to staging on their own. If you think your child is not capable of this, send them to the bull-pen. Send small games, cards, books, etc to help keep the kids entertained between events.

Concessions and heat sheets will be available for purchase - CASH ONLY

Before Leaving: Your swimmer must check in with a coach before leaving. We want to make sure they do not miss any events. Missed events = Missed points to help our team win.

Clean-up: Before leaving the meet make sure that your family cleans up. Look for swim gear like goggles, and towels and trash from dinner or snacks. Everyone did a great job of this last week, THANK YOU! Let’s show the Sharks what good visitors we are.

Parent Shirts: If you ordered a parent shirt online, Vonetta will have those for pickup Thurs morning at practice and at the meet. If you missed the online order, we have some extras and Vonetta will be selling at the meet.

Team/Swimmer Photos plus Donuts and Ribbons Friday 9am:

Individual/family and Team Photos will be taken on Friday starting at 9am.These photos and other items make great momentos to preserve the memories of swim season.

After photos, Coach Will will share some highlights of Meet #3 along with Swimmers of the Meet. We will have ribbons for the placement and the highly coveted rainbow ribbons for time improvements. Parents are welcome to hang out in the pool area. Once the photos and meeting are finished swimmers, siblings, and families can enjoy a fun swim until 10:45am.
