Meet Details AWAY @ Evergreen Lakes - Read this entire email for times and procedures.

We are ready for our first AWAY meet of the season against the Evergreen Lakes!

**Morning practice at normal times tomorrow.

Swim Meet: Thursday evening June 1st AWAY

Address: 1230 Denmark Drive, Lilburn GA 30047

Swimmers and volunteers arrive at the pavilion by 5:00pm.

Preparing: Before heading to the pool you MUST do the following:

1. Find your child’s events on our website HERE by clicking on the MEET ENTRY button or on the Swimtopia App. 
2. REQUIRED: Write your child’s name on their back and event #s on their arm.
3. Pack cold drinks and snacks for your family. Bring small games and toys to keep the kids entertained in the bull-pen.
4. The meet is NEON themed so kids can dress up in their best fluorescent gear.

Parking: 

From Evergreen “Our parking lot is small, so cars should park alongside the neighborhood roads. Please let your team know that there may be a little walk, so bring a wagon if needed. Please also let your team know that there will be signs out directing them where to park (only one side of the road is allowed). We don't want to risk blocking emergency vehicles to our neighborhood houses. No parking is allowed at the entrance of the neighborhood. Please let us know if you have any handicapped persons that need parking.”

From past years I remember that parking is difficult so plan to arrive early and walk far. Make sure to obey all cones and signs. Consider carpooling wherever possible.

Arriving: 

Swimmers and volunteers arrive at the pavilion by 5:00pm. This means you should plan to park at 4:45 to allow time for walking. ALL SWIMMERS check-in with Nancy/Natasha at the bull-pen which will be in the pavilion. Swimmers 10 and under will stay in the pavilion area throughout the meet. Volunteers should check in there as well. Spectators can set up starting at 4:45pm and the visitor side is on the tennis-court side of the pool.

**Kids are NOT ALLOWED to be on the playground or tennis courts.**

Swimming: 

Warm-ups are at 5:25pm and the meet is scheduled to start at 6:00pm. They have 5 lanes and a small pool deck. Many families set up camp around the pavilion and then just pop in to see their swimmers’ events.

Concessions will be available for purchase - CASH/VENMO ONLY

Before Leaving:

Your swimmer must check in with a coach or bull-pen lead before leaving. We want to make sure they do not miss any events. Missed events = Missed points to help our team win.

Clean-up:

Before leaving the meet make sure that your family cleans up. Look for swim gear like goggles, and towels and trash from dinner or snacks. Everyone did a great job of this last week, THANK YOU! Let’s show the Evergreen Lakes what good visitors we are.
