Meet Details AWAY @ Cooper’s Pond - Read this entire email for times and procedures.

This is our first AWAY meet of the season. **Morning practice at normal times tomorrow. This is a meet that we can win - let's go RACERS! 

Swim Meet: Thursday evening June 6th AWAY

Address: 97 Coopers Pond Drive, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30044

Swimmers and volunteers arrive by 5:00pm.

Preparing: Before heading to the pool you MUST do the following:

1. Find your child’s events on the Swimtopia App or in the Heat Sheet and Athlete Check-in available online under Meets/Events and Attached to this email. 
2. REQUIRED: Write your child’s name on their back and event #s on their arm.
3. Pack cold drinks and snacks for your family. Send small games and toys to keep the kids entertained in the bull-pen.

Parking: From Cooper’s Pond : “For those that have never been to our pool, we have extremely limited parking at the clubhouse, therefore the neighborhood streets must be utilized. If you could please instruct your parents to park on the right hand side of Cooper’s Pond Drive (as you enter from Hutchins Road), we would be most grateful. We must only have parking on one side of the street or emergency vehicles will not be able to get through. We will post no parking signs as a reminder. Also be mindful that there are two entrances to our neighborhood, and there is pool access from both of these entrances. Pool access from the Arnold Road entrance is located off Kenswick Circle. “

Arriving: Swimmers and volunteers arrive by 5:00pm. ALL SWIMMERS and volunteers check-in at the bull-pen which will be located by the shallow end of the pool. Spectators will sit on the near side of the pool closest to the clubhouse. You should bring your own chairs.

Swimming: Warm-ups are at 5:30pm and the meet is scheduled to start at 6:00pm. Swimmers should remain in the bull-pen for the entirety of the meet and will not be allowed to play on the playground.

Concessions will be available for purchase.

Before Leaving: Your swimmer must check in with a coach or bull-pen lead before leaving. We want to make sure they do not miss any events. Missed events = Missed points to help our team win.

Clean-up: Before leaving the meet make sure that your family cleans up. Look for swim gear like goggles, and towels and trash from dinner or snacks.
