Meet Details - Tomorrow at HOME vs Cooper's Pond

    2nd DUAL Meet Details - @Home vs Cooper’s Pond

Heat sheets are published on the app, swimmers are getting ready, and we are prepaping to host our first home meet of the season.

We appreciate your time to support our swimmers and put on a great meet!

HOME Swim Meet: Thursday evening June 5th

    Setup Volunteers only at 4pm.

Pool gates will be locked until 5pm. Only setup vols + leads will be allowed to enter. All other families and swimmers can gather in the playground.

All swimmers arrive by 4:45pm <check in on the playground> with event #s written on their arm and name written on back.

Swimmers and families can enter the pool deck at 5pm. REMINDER that ALL SWIMMERS must check in with Ashley Petric either in the playground or bulls-pen once gates open.

    Warm-ups start at 5:05pm

Volunteer Check-in at 5:15pm with Natasha at the vending window (check your role in the Swimtopia App)

    Meet will begin at 6pm

Check here for Meet 101 Notes available on our website. Review what to bring and how to prepare for each meet.

Remember that swimmers 10 and under will stay in the pavilion (bull-pen) until they are finished swimming. This helps us to keep track of them and allows you to be free to volunteer. We expect older swimmers to know and get to their events on time. No swimmers may be on the playground unless finished with all of their events and checked out by the bull-pen lead.

Events: Check your swimmer’s events on the Swimtopia App. Heat Sheets and Entries by Name (Athlete Check-In) are also posted on the meet event on our website. Use the App or print the Heat Sheet for reference during the meet. Remember to use Sharpie to write your swimmer’s name on their back and list of event #s on their arm/leg before you arrive at the pool.

Volunteers: Volunteers check-in with Natasha at 5:15pm at the window near the vending machine room. We will hold Timer training and direct all other volunteers to the leads for their areas. Check your volunteer shifts on the Swimtopia App.

Thank you so much for supporting your children by volunteering. We cannot do this without each family doing their share.

Parking: Use the parking lot first and when full, the grass lot next to courts 1 and 2. If you need to park on the street obey all signs and only park on 1 side of the street. Do not park in the vacant lot on Rivermist before the clubhouse. That is private property.

Concessions: Concessions will be open and serving Dogwood Pizza, barbeque sandwiches, hot dogs, nachos, baked potatoes and pot stickers along with sides, snacks, and drinks. Meal Deals for $5 to $8 are a great way to feed the family. Cash and cards are accepted.

All done swimming?: Before leaving the area, check in with the bull-pen lead to confirm you are clear to leave. We need everyone to finish all of their events, even relays, and sometimes need replacements on relays.

Clean-up: Before leaving the meet make sure that your family cleans up. Look for swim gear like goggles and towels and trash from dinner or snacks. We need everyone to pitch in.

    Donuts and Ribbons Friday 9am:

The coaches will share some highlights of the meet and we will have ribbons available. Parents are welcome to hang out in the pool area and then swimmers, siblings, and families can enjoy a fun swim until 11am.

    Thanks!
